Candle Centrepieces for all Ages You will need;
1.) Play dough will form the foundation for the centrepiece. Put play dough on piece of foil around a fat red candle or for variation, keep play dough in a wreath shape and stick thinner red candles into it. 2.) Push gum nuts and other items firmly into dough. 3.) If centrepiece is not to be painted, add ribbons tied in bows by sticking a bobby pin through back of bow and pushing the pin ends into the dough. 4.) If
centrepiece is to be painted, remove candles. In a
well-ventilated area, spray gold or silver paint onto centrepiece. Glitter
may then be sprinkled on. Spray
glitter with clear gloss enamel to keep it in place.
5.) If
desired, fold foil under dough after it is firm. Move
centrepiece by placing a small plate next to it and pulling
foil and centrepiece onto the plate gently.
